In these pages you will find the preliminary schedule for the entire Focus Meeting, the pre-meeting and the capacity building seminar. This way you can organize your arrival time accordingly.
Pre-meeting
The pre-meeting will start on Friday, October 2nd at 16.00. At this hour you will be requested to go to the Chalmers main entrance. From there we will go by bus to the location where the pre-meeting is held which will take about one hour.

Focus Meeting
The Focus Meeting will start in the evening on Sunday, October 4th at 18.00. This time we will also meet at the Chalmers main entrance and walk to the location where the reception will be held. This location will be on Chalmers campus so the walking distance will be short. The reception location will be announced later.

Bridging the consciousness-action-impact gap when designing a conference.

The WSC-SD has invited Pieter Ploeg & Nathan Heller from the international youth organisation Idem to run this workshop. Idem has successfully hosted the Connectivity Conference 2006 in Sao Paulo and is already preparing for its next conference with up to 2000 participants in 2011. Idem and its partners have developed a very innovative conference concept that turns a conference into a holistic more sustainable experience for all its participants. We hope to cooperate more closely with Idem in the future, and are very happy that already now we have the opportunity to learn from their rich experience. The WSC-SD is currently negotiating with Pieter and Nathan so they can share their expertise on holistic conference design with one eye already on the S3 in Colombia. The capacity-building seminar will be held from Wednesday afternoon until Thursday noon.
