17th- 18th March 2010, Brussels
A European Youth Water Summit, will give the floor to young citizens aged between 15 and 25 years and coming from all 27 EU Member states, to share and discuss water community challenges, needs and priorities and their experience and activities done in this field. They will be included into the debates and discussions at European level, enabling an active exchange with European decision makers – the Members of the European Parliament, representatives of the incoming European Commission as well as the Spanish Council Presidency, but also with peers in different regions and countries.
This event will also facilitate a better understanding of the role and functioning of EU Institutions and the daily life of European representatives.
Local initiatives and established national water parliaments will be supported by giving high visibility on the Brussels level for sharing their achievements and results with others so far. In addition the setting up of new local activities and national or regional parliaments in communities where this has not yet happened will be encouraged and facilitated.
Simulating the debates and decision making of the European Parliament during these two days young Europeans will be working together on policy recommendations outlining how to best realize the aims of theWater Vision for Europe based on their experiences.
This European Youth Water Declaration will be presented and incorporated into the Aquawareness Policy Forum taking place one week after this event. Two elected youth ambassadors will be invited to be part of the high level debates as well as the roundtable discussions during this Policy Forum, thus ensuring the incorporation of views and thoughts of the decision makers of tomorrow.

hey everyone, sorry if I’m posting in the wrong place but I need some help.
I few years ago I bought a timeshare at one of those high pressure sales pitches. I thought it was a good idea at the the time but now I can’t afford the maintenance fees and the property taxes i have to pay every year.
Does anyone know of a place that can sell my timeshare for me? I’ve tried several listing companies with no luck. When I look on ebay there are timeshares going for $1. Is my timeshare that I payed a butt load for really only worth a dollar?
thanks,
