The WSC-SD is currently actively collecting stories of successful student-led initiatives tohat are successfully addressing or tackling climate change. The best stories will be published in an e-book and will be displayed during a COP15 exhibit and side event in Copenhagen, December 2009.

MIT's Sustainability Summit, the first of what is expected to be an annual event, was held last week at Walker Hall and garnered a full-house turnout for a series of talks, panel discussions and breakout sessions. The summit capped four days of Earth Week activities on campus, and was the lead achievement of the new student organization called Sustainability@MIT. The summit, titled "Discovering New Dimensions for Growth," focused on the growing awareness and need for businesses to incorporate concepts of sustainability in their planning.
