[project 21] members also like to drink beer once in a while but this project is somewhat more than just about having our own alcohol supply. The aim of FreeBeer is to enhance a sustainable way of dealing with intellectual property and make Creative Commons, an alternative to the copyright, better known. FreeBeer shows how it can be done differently and how money can also be gained with openness.
The brand, recipe and the design of FreeBeer were published with a Creative Commons license that means that anyone can brew and even sell this beer legally.
FreeBeer is produced by the Wädibrau AG brewery, which is certified for its organic production.
