I found the website “UNEP , Climate Neutral Network”. It has various topic related to sustainability,like “Agri-food, Building and Construction, Forestry, Waste”. It is well-organized and very close to our life! Today, I read the report about “tourism“. It taguht me a lot!
“If we compare tourism with the emissions of countries, tourism would be the 5th bigger polluter worldwide. The amount of emissions produced by tourism, an activity that engages each person no more than 4-5 weeks each year, is bigger than the emissions produced by billions of people living and working for one year in big industrialized countries or new emerging economies.”
I was very surprised that tourism is the one of the main cause of global climate change!
The one of the greatest thing in this article is that it also teachs us “how to solve this?”.
